Health, Safety, and Sanitation Policy

At Clean Slate Laundry Plus, the health and safety of our employees, customers, and equipment are our highest priorities. To maintain a safe and sanitary environment, all customers are required to comply with the following policy.

BIOHAZARD AND CONTAMINATION POLICY — STRICTLY ENFORCED

Clean Slate Laundry Plus does not accept or process laundry that is heavily contaminated or saturated with bodily fluids or other hazardous substances. This includes, but is not limited to:

Blood

Urine

Feces

Vomit

Semen or other bodily fluids

Excessively soiled diapers or incontinence products

Animal hair/waste

Mold-contaminated items

Items heavily soaked with food liquids, grease, oils, chemicals, or other organic matter

Any material deemed by management to present a health or safety risk

If any laundry order is found to contain items that are heavily contaminated, saturated, or otherwise present a biohazard risk, processing of the entire order will be immediately suspended. No exceptions will be made.

Clean Slate Laundry Plus reserves the right to:

Refuse service at any time. Stop processing an order immediately upon discovery of prohibited items. Return the order unwashed and/or require the customer to retrieve the order promptly. Charge applicable pickup, delivery, handling, or disposal fees incurred as a result of the violation. Refuse future service to customers who repeatedly violate this policy. Customers are responsible for inspecting and separating their laundry prior to pickup. 

Submission of laundry to Clean Slate Laundry Plus constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this policy.

NO EXCEPTIONS

This policy is mandatory and non-negotiable. Exceptions will not be granted under any circumstances. Clean Slate Laundry Plus reserves the sole right to determine whether an item or order violates this policy and may refuse service whenever necessary to protect the health and safety of its staff, customers, and facilities.
